For Africa (revised)

You precious child crawling
You mother earth son
You heir

In-between thorny pavements
That bleed your feet
And heart
Squeeze out your melodic laughters
Stand tall
Let it rain
Wash dystopic images in your children's eyes
So they can sing you new songs

You Africa are a heart
Lined with veins
Of recovering strong robes.

I like this version even more. What about you? Let your thoughts out, let me hear you.
